Why is it that some people, no matter what dire circumstances life places them in, fight back and work towards something meaningful and some resemblance of success, even if they have to scratch and claw one inch at a time. Give some people a spoon and enough time and they’ll dig a mile long tunnel to get where they want to be. Give some people a bulldozer and they’ll never even start it up and try.

Part of getting out of financial problems is figuring out how to remove the wet blanket debt and lack of money puts on your life. It’s like virtual handcuffs holding you back. Money trouble or financial issues are the leading cause of stress in a relationship. 57% of divorced couples attributed the demise of their marriage to money troubles. According to a Suntrust survey the same year, 35% of people in a relationship experiencing difficulty stated that money issues were the main cause of their problems. A quick search did not reveal any low hanging fruit to how money troubles kill personal creativity, drive and health: most of what I found dealt with killing creativity in a business environment.

Never doubt whose side the banks are on… its not your’s. Avoid debt like you would a deadly virus. Start working your way out if you’re in debt. Like an evil clown in a horror movie, the smiling faces and friendly people in bank and credit card commercials and advertisements are only facades covering the evil lurking within. If you’ve never experienced hard financial times, then you’ve missed the dark side of banking, but if you’ve gotten in over your head in debt then you know full well what I’m talking about.
